This full-time role is available immediately on a permanent basis.
Summary of the role
The University of Exeter is seeking an Occupational Health Advisor to join the team. You will provide OH advice and guidance, supporting managers and staff at both the Exeter and Cornwall campuses. They are seeking a colleague who will thrive in the diversity of University life and enjoy working with employees from varied roles and professional backgrounds, and who will assist in supporting the University's aim to provide a positive, inclusive and safe working environment for all employees.
Whilst some working at the Exeter campus would be an advantage (e.g. for health surveillance), applicants who may only be able to work remotely are also encouraged to apply.
The main elements of the role will include; supporting new starters, case management, workplace assessment and health surveillance.
You must be a Registered General Nurse having a degree level (or equivalent) post-registration qualification in Occupational Health (currently registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council, Parts 1 & 3 (SCPHN OH)). They are a nurse-led service with regular clinical support from the appointed Occupational Physician.
