Royal Navy, Civilian Consultant in Occupational Medicine
The Consultant Occupational Physician in the Underwater Medicine Department (UMD) at the Institute of Naval Medicine (INM) primarily provides radiation medicine support to operational commitments and radiation medicine advice to MoD personnel and other government agencies. Training for the post holder to fulfil these commitments will be offered. There is a teaching commitment, with UMD providing training in radiation medicine to Service and civilian personnel. The post holder will also be required to train for and contribute to other UMD and INM outputs, such as submarine, diving and environmental medicine provision and training.
