SOM members can join one or more regional groups as part of their membership. Click on the map to find out more (there is also an International Group). Groups provide local relevant educational events to develop member’s knowledge. There are also excellent networking opportunities through social events and workplace visits. This contributes to your CPD requirements. There are also opportunities to feed into SOM national policy and SOM's educational programme.
Non-members may be allowed to attend group meetings but will need to join the SOM if they wish to continue attending the meetings and receive wider membership benefits.
The Regional Group meeting calendar is available on the Members website. View the calendar by logging in to your account. Head to ‘Member Support and Benefits’ and click on Regional Groups.
