Do consider joining SOM’s free voluntary register - both for doctors who have completed the DOcc Med, and DOcc Med candidates. It aims to facilitate support for DOcc Meds e.g. via

  • regular meetings Chaired by the SOM President and supported by senior clinicians to share practical tips on career development
  • a WhatsApp Group and
  • placement opportunities

A DOcc Med toolkit is currently being developed.

Busy with your own personal life and work, and wanting to know core information to help pass the MCQ exams? SOM is pleased to be partnering with The Occupational Health Academy to help you with your preparation so you can understand key concepts and help you pass the exam.  

The recordings below cover key principles and information for the exam with OH Ethics and Law, Occupational Hygiene, Occupational Medicine and Exam Tips/Past Topics and help you grasp the key concepts to improve your knowledge for the more difficult MCQ exam.
