We have an exciting opportunity for an occupational health consultant to join our team in a key role to provide both clinical and professional leadership support across the multi-disciplinary team and to be an expert senior professional integral to the organisation.

We are passionate about the health and wellbeing of our staff and the impact this has upon the care and experience our patients receive. As clinical lead you will be supported by the Head of Occupational Health and Senior Nurse Specialists in Occupational Health. We are looking for someone who is motivated, enthusiastic, innovative, and willing to champion a team approach to the development of our service.

We provide a comprehensive range of services for around 5,500 employees across two acute hospital sites and to a number of external customers. The post holder will be expected to work across both hospital locations. Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust Occupational Health Service has accreditation by SEQOHS (Safe Effective Quality Occupational Health Service).

The Trust resides in the garden of England surrounded by rolling countryside. Kent boasts excellent transport links to London and beyond to Europe. There is a varied housing market and an excellent choice of schooling in both private and public sectors.

If shortlisted, you will be required to give a 10 minute presentation on: Delivering an effective Occupational Health and Wellbeing Service in the NHS over the next five years within increasing financial constraints and plans for income generation.
