ELAS Occupational Health, Occupational Health Physician (Lead Consultant)

Salary: Competitive, starting at £130,000 per annum

ELAS Occupational Health has an exciting role for an Occupational Health Physician (Lead Consultant) either on a full time or part time basis. The role will be a mixture of remote working and face to face consultations in the northwest, primarily from the ELAS OH offices in Eccles, Manchester.

Part of the Citation Group, ELAS OH provides the full remit of OH services to their clients nationwide. They are looking to recruit an experienced Occupational Physician to provide leadership to their expanding multidisciplinary team of OH professionals.

Overview:
You will be the clinical lead at Head office and will be pivotal to effective delivery of first rate, evidence-based, OH services.
You will have a leadership role in a highly motivated and customer focused team, working within a supportive culture, and with encouragement to progress in your career and develop areas of special interest.
Job requirements:
- Full GMC registration with a valid licence to practice.
- Consultant in Occupational Medicine.
- GMC specialist register entry.
- Experienced in commercial OH provision.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ideally on the HSE Appointed Doctor list for lead and/or radiation/asbestos, however support to obtain entry can be provided.

- HAVS trained and experienced in conducting Tier 4 assessments.


The role:
You will be expected to undertake a mix of clinic work, administrative duties, team management, mentorship of colleagues, and the full range of work expected of an accredited specialist in this field. The successful candidate will also have input in clinical governance and help maintain clinical standards.
Although predominately based at the head office in Eccles, you will undertake occasional clinics at other sites in addition to remote consultations.
You will report to the Chief Medical Officer but will have the opportunity to develop your management skills and grow the role as an integral part of the Occupational Health Leadership Team.
