Speaker Bio:
Dr Nancy Doyle C. Psychol is a Visiting Professor of Occupational Psychology at Birkbeck, University of London and is the founder and Chief Science Officer of Genius Within CIC, an international B-corp and non-profit. Genius Within provides coaching, assessment, training, HR consultancy and scalable digital services to thousands of businesses each year. Genius Within won the Queen’s Award for Business in 2022. Nancy has worked in disability inclusion since the late 1990s and has personally delivered hundreds of diagnostic assessments, workplace needs assessments and coaching programs for neurodivergent people. Nancy is an ADHDer, and her company is a majority disabled business, with around two thirds of the 250 employees and associates identifying as neurodivergent, disabled or both. Nancy therefore has lived experience of both overcoming career barriers, supporting others to do so, and learning how to manage boundaries around reasonableness within a marginalised team.
Tim Heard: Tim brings two decades of comprehensive experience in occupational health, safety, and wellbeing. His expertise encompasses the management of psychological risk at the organisational level, consultancy, and the implementation of company-wide wellbeing strategies. Tim is adept at providing innovative solutions tailored to support his clients effectively.
Tim’s role demands agile thinking and an open-minded approach to the diverse challenges companies encounter in enhancing employee wellbeing. He also possesses extensive experience in managing sickness absence across a broad spectrum of medical conditions.
In the past two years, Tim has focused on enhancing HCML’s support for neurodiversity. His dedication to creating scalable solutions has resulted in robust support systems for individuals facing neurodiversity-related challenges in the workplace.
