Psychometric Assessments in Occupational Health – What They are and How to Use Them

Join us at a free webinar as part of the launch on a guide on the use of Psychometric Assessments in Occupational Health. The guide was put together by members of the SOM Special Interest Group in Occupational, Health and Work Psychology (OHWP). 
 
The session will introduce the guide, which was written to support Occupational Health Practitioners in using psychometric assessments in their practice. 
 
In this webinar, we will cover the use of psychometrics in occupational health, for example in the screening and assessment of health outcomes and symptoms, risk factors, and working conditions. More specifically, the webinar will cover:
 
•    What psychometrics are and their use in occupational health
•    Tips on using psychometrics 
•    Training and competence 
•    Determining the quality of a psychometric assessment
 
Examples and best practice advice will also be provided.
