Organisational Wellbeing Interventions: Case Studies from the NHS

Registration is closed for this event

FREE WEBINAR

Join us at a free lunchtime online seminar to hear about organisational interventions to support staff wellbeing in the healthcare sector.

Acknowledging the challenging working conditions and environment faced by healthcare workers, there is an urgent need to view staff wellbeing as a systems issue. This means wellbeing interventions must consider a comprehensive approach that includes attempts to change and improve the working environment and conditions. It is equally important to build in staff participation within the process. This can be challenging in an overstretched environment where resources are limited.

In this webinar:

We will share a range of such organisational interventions that include changes to work processes and workload; flexible work; increasing worker participation and voice; and building in support systems within the structure. These examples range from small (e.g., teams and wards) to large group (e.g., Trust) settings.

You will also be able to hear directly from some of the interventions leads who will present their interventions in more detail.

We will summarise key themes from our interviews with intervention stakeholders, focusing on lessons learnt and sharing best practice principles for future such interventions, emphasising the importance of staff participation as part of the intervention process.

All participants will receive an electronic copy of the project report covering the above in more detail.

This project was funded by an ISSF-Wellcome Grant. This webinar is supported by the Society of Occupational Medicine.
