Their health, safety and wellbeing is BA's primary concern and for an experienced Occupational Health professional it could be the most varied role you will ever have. Your expertise will be crucial to BA. You will be providing Occupational Health support and, whether it is to the OH team or to the business, you will ensure it is of the highest quality, and supports BA's mission: To fly, To serve. Your remit will be challenging and wide-ranging. Diverse Occupational Health services including clinical and rehabilitation consultations; risk management, compliance and clinical governance; plus, management of the OH Business Partners and their teams of OHAs. All this and more will require your expert input. In short, you’ll ensure BA's people, passengers and policies are always in the best possible health.

BA is looking for an outstanding Occupational Health expert. As a minimum, you’ll need to be GMC registered with a licence to practice in the UK, and be an accredited specialist in Occupational Medicine, on the GMC Specialist Register for Occupational Medicine. Alternatively, you may be AFOM qualified with excellent experience in occupational health. In time, you will be able to develop expert aviation medicine knowledge with the potential to gain aviation medicine qualifications and CAA accreditation as an authorised medical examiner.

You will have the enthusiasm and ability to meet and anticipate the demands of a large, complex organisation. A commercial mind-set, the ability to work across functions and sharing BA's total commitment to delivering excellence are also essential.
