Opportunities have arisen for full-time innovative, enthusiastic and motivated NMC registered Occupational Health Advisors to join British Airways Health Services.

Based at Waterside, British Airways Head Office close to Heathrow, you will play an integral part in the provision of a proactive occupational health service that meets the demands of a fast-moving business environment, to support the health and well-being of colleagues across British Airways.

You will be part of a dynamic, multi-specialist British Airways Health Services team of OH Physicians and Advisors providing specialist health advice and assistance to colleagues, contributing to management of fitness for work and sickness absence, plus the prevention of work-related ill health in ground, air and overseas environments.

The majority of the role will be case management, so you should be confident in handling cases and reporting to management.  However, opportunities to work in British Airways health centre may arise, conducting health surveillance or pre-employment screening.  Additionally, there will be opportunities to interact directly with management in different business areas.

You must have strong organizational, communication and team working skills, plus the ability to multi-task in a busy environment. The ability to work and travel flexibly as well as adapting to change is essential.

Applicants must be Part 3 NMC Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in occupational health case management.  Previous Occupational Health Nursing experience in aviation is desirable.
