Insight Workplace Health is a SEQOHS accredited multidisciplinary occupational health provider and are seeking to recruit a remote occupational health physician (OHP) to join a multidisciplinary team of occupational physicians, occupational health advisers, mental health nurses, consultant clinical psychologist, ergonomists and workplace needs assessors.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of a range of clinical services in accordance with Insight/Faculty of Occupational Medicine (FOM) standards/SEQOHS.

The role:

Working on a hybrid basis, the successful candidate will conduct management referrals via teams/ zoom or by telephone to a high standard. They will also be available to travel to Insight's Ruthin clinic, for face to face assessments (no more than once per week).

These referrals may be a combination of sickness absence management and health surveillance referrals, case conferences and ill health retirement consultations for all industry sectors.

The candidate will have excellent IT skills and will be using the eOPAS software system,

The candidate will be able to write excellent quality reports in a timely manner in line with Insight's KPI’s.

The candidate will support insight's team by giving support and advice where required.

Very occasionally, travel to Insight Workplace Health head office in Llandarcy will be required for training and meetings.

Qualifications and experience

-    As a minimum, a Diploma in Occupational Medicine and ideally an AFOM/MFOM.

-    HSE appointed Doctor for lead and asbestos and HAVS tier 4 qualified is highly desirable.

-    At least two years working for a commercial provider desirable

This is an employed position through PAYE. Salary from £105,000 dependent on experience.
