Greater Manchester Police, Occupational Health Technician
Greater Manchester Police is seeking to recruit Occupational Health Technicians for its Occupational Health and Wellbeing Service.
Supported by the OH clinical nursing team, the role will involve supporting key aspects of the OH service, including:
- Conducting new starter/recruitment assessments and fitness tests
- Supporting periodic fitness for task medicals, health surveillance assessments and general health checks
- Preparation of clinical rooms and equipment
- Able to demonstrate proven skills in team working, administration, organisation and operation of a computerised record system.
- Effective, sensitive and caring communication is essential.
- Be willing to work flexibly at different locations across the Force.
Applicants must hold an Occupational Health Technician Level 3 qualification, with experience of working within a health care environment.
